Credit System
Our Services use a credit-based system for certain features. We track:

User CV Data
When you upload or paste a CV (résumé) into Jobio, we store the following data in our user_cvs database table:
- Raw text: The plain-text content extracted from your CV
- Structured JSON: A parsed, structured representation of your CV data (e.g., work history, education, skills)
- Email address (from CV): The email address found within your CV document
- Phone number (from CV): The phone number found within your CV document
- Source file (optional): The original uploaded file (PDF or DOCX), if you chose to upload one rather than paste text
PII Allowlist
We operate a strict PII Allowlist for CV data. Only email address and phone number are extracted and retained from your CV. The following personal information is not retained even when present in the source CV:
- Date of birth
- Home address
- Photo
- Nationality
Deletion of CV Data
You may request deletion of your CV data at any time via the CV Management Page within the application. Upon request, all CV data (raw text, structured JSON, extracted contact details, and any uploaded source file) is hard-deleted from our systems — it is permanently removed, not merely archived or soft-deleted.
Data Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. The information you provide to us is stored on secured servers and handled safely by any personnel with access to your personal information.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
